#1. It was previously being reported by some ppl that he had retaken the ACT and had scored high enough, but NCAA was dragging their feet. That wasn’t true.

#2, This is the bigger one. A lot of fans were complaining and pissed off that the NCAA waited until the basketball season to notify VT/Nolley when it seemed to them like it should have been resolved quicker. This is the sticky one because this also isn’t exactly true. Without saying any more, I’ll say that it wasn’t VT or Landers fault.

This is tough on Chez, his parents, the coaches and everyone else involved. It’s a super unfortunate situation, but everyone has accepted it. He’s focusing on his academics and doing well and he’s going to be a great player.
