I love Bud to death, but he has to take a lot of blame for 2018. Poor tackling technique falls on him. All that said, our defense had a year or two at the end of the Big East years with porous defenses, but nothing like this. Bud righted the ship then. I hope with an off-season and a few transfers we can plug multiple holes we saw this year.

On offense, I would like to see more toughness, especially in the O-Line and with more of a commitment to the running game. The NC contenders typically have this. See Alabama, UGA, OSU and Clemson.
