There are plenty...

Internal event scheduling (lots of university/program-related events happen during the season that are weekend-only and there aren't enough to go around this season), it impacts recruiting, the fact we will miss ticket revenue from fans who will only tune in to basketball in January and by then may have missed their chance to attend a weekend game, and the fact students will basically have 3 weekend ACC games total...that's 3 shots at the lottery...one a Friday in March, so just two Saturdays. And there's more...but you are the one that asked for a list. Don't turn me into a whiner because I provided one at your request.

MY position has never been that the ACC has it out for VT and VT alone. But while you're making charts and charting historical references, make me one of the last time Duke or UNC closed a season this way. I am not whining about that...that's our position. That's who we are in a conference they run. But just as the extreme conspiracy theorists re VT are off base, you are also not recognizing reality if you don't understand that the conference still goes through those two. What they want, they get. If you honestly believe that all scheduling is just a totally above board, zero favoritism, only slightly influenced by ESPN, and "everyone's on the same team here, folks" mentality, think again. Best way to handle it? Beat their ass. On whatever day of the week they choose.
