As to Capehart, I agree that could have been handled better, but it also set an expectation that Fu doesn't have a high tolerance for shenanigans, doublespeak, etc. Basically, be straight up with Fu and he'll be straight up with you.

The Goode situation is just bizarre to me. I think he just didn't like what he discovered about the program when he got here. Whether that's Fu, the players, staff, school or some combination, who knows. I knew a guy who thought he wanted the VMI experience. He visited, understood the program and everything, but once he started it took about a week and he was gone. I think some people just have to experience things first hand before they make a decision.
