The first rule of Raycom is:

You do not talk about Raycom.

The second rule of Raycom is: you DO NOT talk about Raycom!

Third rule of Raycom: when any ACC team other that Duke or UNC plays, viewing is not allowed in ACC territory.

Fourth rule: only the crappiest broadcast quality allowed- with garonteed audio / video issues throughout the game.

Fifth rule: only the crappiest announcers, fellas. And no mention of actual plays of the game when they are going on! Only obscure, esoteric references to non game-related discussions over student volunteer projects and player hobbies, especially during the tightest moments of games. Those times when you want to tell the announcers to just STFU so you can at least listen to the actual game sounds over their blabbering and try to figure out what’s happening on your own.

Sixth rule: No actual, cogent in-game analysis during the bojangles half time report.

Seventh rule: broadcasts will go on as long as they have to. Until the game gets to the end of the previously allotted time slot, before the end of a 1-point game in regulation, or OT, to be interrupted by a syndicated episode of Two and a half men or How I met your mother. And the eighth and final rule: if this is your first time at JPJ, you have to root for the Hokies!!
