yourself and getting up through the minor leagues ( contract like that probably year 5-6 at BEST).
Still, the $100M contract in football is NEW...baseball, not so much (although the number surprises me).
I suspect the career earnings of the average MLB player is much higher than even the top 1/4 of the NFL guys because of longevity..Still, they DO throw CRAZY money at QB's who can play. Kirk Cousins is but one example, but there are plenty of others. Not Top 5, some even journeymen starters, but BIG money nonetheless..
