Good for TV/ratings/media/money, but bad for the game
If that makes any sense.
(and I don't begrudge any person for trying to find their best-fit situation, whether personal or professional)
Similar to the explosion of Kentucky one-and-done basketball players. It generates some interest ("Wow, they've got 4 lottery picks in the starting lineup!"), but as a "traditional" fan, is it good for the game? You've basically got a 6-month exhibition All-Star team, with very little connection to the actual school & campus.
We're heading to a point where 30-40 QBs are going to transfer every year, and I don't see how that's good for the game.
