The officials falling for the old "shoot the 3, fall to the floor, shoot foul shots". Twice I could clearly see the Wake guard not being within a foot of our defender but getting the call.

Now some shooters are good at sticking out their leg to draw/initiate contact. I don't like that either but Saturday it was 100% flop.

At the final media, under 4 timeout, VT was 10-14 from the line and Wake had shot 35 free throws. I also noticed Danny Manning pulling the old Coach K trick of using the timeouts to have a one on one conversation with one of the officials. Following one such incidence we were called for 3 fouls during the next 30 seconds of the game.

Whatever happened to the ACC protecting it's ranked teams? Yeah I know the answer to that one :)
