I remember Greenberg talking about a plus and minus statistic when it


comes to conference play. The idea is that a road win is +1 and a home loss is -1. No points for a home win or a road loss. Now I am abundantly aware that a home win vs Duke or UVA is better than a road win vs BC, even though the Duke or UVA win counts as no points, BUT it really does kind of put the season into perspective if you use that as a framework.

Here's the summary:
VT is +1. This is good
Dig a bit deeper: our two conference losses are to two Top 15 teams...on the road.
Panic if we lose to Syracuse. Tonight should not be a cause for panic: it just sucks because we're likely not a Top 10 team. We still have a lot to play for though y'all!
