Then worry more how Fuente hasn't kept his promise of a spread offense

Notice both the players leaving are pass catchers. Stats from last season shows 520 runs, and 429 passes. We have turned into a run dominated ball possesion offense. I remember distinctly when Fuente was hired how he stated he wanted to run a pass oriented spread offense and that he needed at least 6 active WR's to do that. Alot of recruits bought into that and unfortunately it will be turned into a negative recruiting tool against us for future WR recruits. Truth is if you're only passing a minority of the time, you only need 3 or 4 WR's. Everyone else gets left out in the cold. This would be a moot point if he had simply kept his promise.

Kumah's departure, especially as a starter, especially reminds me of Travon McMillian's departure. Travon's yardage decreased every year under Fuente after being a starter and rushing for 1000 yards, decreasing to about 400 yards his last year here, then he transfers and immediately has another 1000 yard rushing yards elsewhere. This doesn't instill alot of confidence in Fuente's ability to utilize the talent he has, and this will also be used negatively against us in recruiting. I don't think that Kumah would depart unless he was getting vibes or perhaps being told directly his role on the team next year will be greatly diminished.
