Someone has to leave or not take them back.
Plus, as posted earlier the program can't take away the current active scholarship so a player could finish their schollie year out.
Just as if they are kicked off the team but not out of school.
The term of that scholarship is valid.
Normal scholarships are normally year to year anyway.

"Currently, a student's notification of intent to transfer at the end of a term is not a listed reason a school can use to cancel aid"
So Immediately opening one for early entry...
