Some react calmly to change, some dont

I guess we can put you in the second category.

I don't think anyone was expecting the mass impact the new transfer rules would have. But if you look around the sport, it's going on everywhere. 18 year old kids make decisions, and now with the early signing period, make them even sooner, and they change as they get the first tastes of life outside home. What they thought they wanted and the situation changes.

More importantly their role changes year to year as players come and go and let's be honest, many of these kids have never competed for anything in their lives as they have always been the fawned over star. So for a few they want to go somewhere that they are the center of attention. For others it is something else, they miss home or don't like the food or whatever.

If you're not AL or Clem or a few others, this will be the norm for a while I'm afraid. Recruiting will change as a result and life will go on. 14 kids transferred from state Penn, is Franklin suddenly a failure when a month ago he was a star?

I personally think it will be overall bad for the sport over time as it will enable the dirty money to have a larger influence than it already does, but it's what it is now. Fans with pitchforks on the coaches lawns is not going to make it better.
