With JRob passing Malcolm Delaney and Bimbo Coles on the all-time assist list at VT, I suspect, based on assists, points, and leadership, that one day the number 5 will hang from the rafters in Cassell.

My question, however, is why hasn’t Delaney’s #23 (@foe23) been elevated? He is one of VT’s most feared and prolific scorers. He’s number 3 on the all-time assists list. He’s in the middle of an outstanding professional career in the NBA and overseas.

Of all VT’s players not so honored, I believe that he is most deserving.
