Appreciative of our effort w/o Robinson, but I have a strategic complaint.

People seem to be down on Ty Outlaw's shooting. This is, in a word, crazy. In the 3 full games we've played without J-Rob, Outlaw is 6 of 14 on 3pt FGA (~43%). You can say two of those makes were in garbage time and, okay, but then he's still 4 of 12 during a supposed slump (and 4 of 9 not counting the 2 garbage time 3s in the last two games).

He has taken 14 of our 64 3pt FGA during that time. He's taking less than 1/4 of our 3pt shots and less than 5 per game. Not counting the "let's rig the NET ranking 3s" in the last two games he's averaging 4 3pt FGA per game.

Just process that for a second. During a period where we are *desperate* for offensive contribution, we have a guy who has consistently shot 45+% on 3pt FGA in his career (i.e. he is a flat-out elite shooter) and he is basically getting 2 shots per half from distance. THIS IS NO BUENO. We are categorically leaving points on the table by not getting him at least 6 or 7 3pt FGA per game, and I would err on the side of going for more. He's playing major minutes (everyone is) and most of our possessions are ending in turnover or marginal takes as it is. There's really no reason we shouldn't be letting him jack it up. A lot.

Again, love the effort. It's basically a miracle that we beat NC St and were even in these last two games. But let's stop being stupid. Free Ty Outlaw.
