Coach Fu is bragging to the press about the offensive historical rankings in VT history for the past three years, and says nothing about the defense. He credits the offensive performance as the key to a really good offensive class, and he's right. What I didn't realize is that we were a top 40 offense this year despite several games with low performance. In contrast we were a bottom 40 defensive team, and ranked close to the bottom in several areas. We've had a new OC for three years, with new ideas, and the same DC for the last couple of decades. Is there a correlation here?
