He's being asked to do everything he doesn't do well.


That's all I can guess. I read a really good scouting report on him that called him a good, complementary player, a future NBA off-guard who can feed off of a great lead guard. Now he has to be the point/lead guard, and it's just exposing everything he doesn't do (as) well.

I like that he's being fiercely competitive and wants to do well. I think his on-ball defense has been better, and he's working hard on that end of the floor. He feels the pressure and the need to be the guy, and he really wants to do well. He is not a guy who is just putting in time until the draft. I respect that, and I also feel bad for him being forced into this situation, because it's not a role he can fill well at this point of his career.
