Blackshear, stop complaining about fouls.
It's really simple, the squeaky wheel gets the grease.
Whether or not the calls were right or wrong, do you think they would have happened had he not:
1) Kicked his foot to get the player off him
2) Screamed at the ref when the ball went out of bounds shortly thereafter
3) Used his 'whodunit' face in the remainder of the game after fouls
I am sure people have picked up on the fact that during Blackshear's amazing February, he seemed to stop complaining about fouls. Hmm. Before that, he was fouling out of games regularly, with the same antics. Just stop complaining.
*This applies to most NBA players, definitely including LeBron. The refs don't care, and do you think they remember the guy who keeps complaining, or the guy who goes on his way? Do you really want to stick out in a ref's mind?
Sorry. This just grinds my gears. Yeah, some calls were bogus, and it sucks. However, it's how you respond to adversity. With Justin Robinson, we respond incredibly well, where in the past, we would have crumbled. Without him, it's taken some time, but we re-developed into a top-20 team, which is amazing.
