I’m not a basketball expert by any means, but I can recognize good coaching. Buzz is a great basketball coach. I agree with Chris’ article that if he did a better job recruiting, he wouldn’t have to be such a great coach. A little more size would help.

If we have to replace Buzz, I think we need a coach that has an offense first philosophy. Although Seth Greenberg had moderate success at VT, I did not enjoy his brand of basketball. An offensive strategy will also help us recruit successfully against UVA as top players want to show their talent. UVA has a great program but their style of play can be boring in my opinion. I prefer UNC’s style of play to watch and entertain.

Having said this, Buzz is a coach who changes his coaching to fit his talent. He did a great job this year. Hope he stays. If he doesn’t though, in Whit I trust.
