Maybe or attendance will end up being bigger than you think

It may also depend on whether people have to buy tickets for both games from the venue/online service or if they have the option to only purchase tickets for 1 game. Regardless of the fan base, I could people decide to fly out there on a Wednesday and stay until Sunday or Monday to see the NoCal sites (i.e. Napa Valley, Alcatraz, Yosemite National Park, Big Sur, etc).

I know when I flew out to San Fran to attend the bowl game, I wish I had booked the trip for longer so I could have really taken in the sites. I ended up booking a 4 day bowl package which really meant I only had 1 day to tour around the area because 2 days were lost due to travel and 1 day lost for the bowl game plus the pre-bowl game planned activities.
