Good question. Personally, I have no idea. But from a strategic standpoint, I don't think it would make sense to allow a crazy one-time result like that to dictate some inflated offer. Yes, it would suck to lose your HC after winning a national championship, but it might suck worse to pay him $5 mill/year+ and not get the sustained success you would hope from that kind of expenditure. At that point he'd be paid more than Jay Wright, Roy Williams, and Tom Izzo. Buzz has been great, but even with a flukey run in the tourney his resume wouldn't dictate that kind of payday
