I think he's a good coach and a better recruiter than VT fans may realize. Were it not for his Dook ties, I think he'd be the best candidate out there. But while so many are focused on the "what if he came here and then left for Dook" question, I wonder the opposite... what if he came here and didn't get the Dook job? There are a lot of coaches who prefer not to coach against their mentor, especially in the same league where you could see them twice a year. I remember when Steve Alford got the Iowa job, he wasn't thrilled to have to go against Bobby Knight every season. I wonder if Wojo would be at all uncomfortable trying to defeat Koach Kourage each year for the near future.
