than playing Notre Dame and Boston College IMO. St. Louis and Liberty would have been the mid or bottom tier of the ACC this year, and were lucky to be in the tournament. This is the first time I’ve witnessed Tech getting favorable seeding in the first few rounds of the tournament, so that Sweet 16 was opportunistic for us. People will hate hearing that, but it’s true.

That said, it was great making it there. If Buzz couldn’t have made it past those 2, it would have been a bit embarrassing. And he needed to win those games for his aTm resume.
