of course i don't know what in the hell i know about basketball. from a few minutes of internet research they excite me as up and comers with stellar records, young, possibly less expensive, non sleazy, and for the most part local ties or close enough. the texas tech guy might have played himself into the really big time after this and last years run, but it's not like he's from texas (buzz).
