I know the NBA is trying to allow 18 year olds to play in the league so

All the one and done stuff may end. But if it doesn’t then I wonder about coaches and whether they will continue to pursue the one and done guys. Duke came within a tip in to losing to UCF and VT, both programs with 4 year type of guys for the most part. Last years final 4 had Villanova, Texas Tech, Loyola of Chicago and Kansas (a one and done participant). This years final four didn’t have any of the “one and done” programs. UnC won in 2017, but the other final four teams were more 4 year kids. A lot of parity in the ncaa allows the smaller programs with multi year kids to compete pretty well with the one and done teams. And the margin for error is really slim. As an example, Villanova won the national title last year and made the tourney again this year. However they lost at home this year to Furman - a team that Wofford beat twice. Syracuse lost to old dominion and UConn this year but still finished in the top half of the acc. Not sure what my conclusion is other than there is a lot of parity and the teams with seasoned players who might have been 2 or 3 star kids when recruited seem to be able to hang in their against the one and done programs.
