They are VERY insular to regional approaches. First qualifications for any job is a cousin, then a VT graduate, then someone in their home town and maybe check to see if you can read or write and finally coach....These folks have NO idea what the national platform is or frankly they don't care. god they probably couldn't deal with corporate america or any business in big cities.

Buzz is a NATIONAL coach and he plays on the stage, For national stage, the coaches are the players and the schools are just the stages. Thats the price for national coverage.

I guess these folks would be happy to rather have coaches who knew cousin billy than measure just on performance.
