doing last year at this time. Wake is waiting to fire Manning like aTm was waiting to fire Billy Kennedy. Odom is already sold on Wake like Buzz was sold on aTm a year ago. That JMO, but it has the same feel.

I liked Wojo and Hurley as potential hires too, before we landed CMY. But I wondered about the flight risk with K looking pretty worn and tired these days. Cronin just didn’t seem to fit for some reason.

I’m very happy with the CMY because of the loyalty potential and that he has the potential to be another Charlie Moir or Bill Foster type coach; both of whom were fairly successful. And when I say successful, I have no illusions of a National Championship... just more routine post-season appearances. I think CMY can be as successful as Buzz, all while loving where he is coaching. And Buzz would have never grabbed a Natty for us, but maybe lucky enough to grab an a Elite 8. CMY can reach that same level IMO.
