Dude hired Tommy Tuberville at UC and the aftermath was ugly - thank God for Luke Fickell.

He hired Fuente - who I like and hope works out at Tech - but Whit’s hire just led us to the first sub-500 record since 1992.

Whit hit the homerun with Buzz who turned around a disaster but left 5 years later with a better foundation but bare cupboard.

Mike Young we will see - most experts say solid hire. Didn’t really get my blood pumping either way so let’s see.

Whit also ran off some long time donors with his new football ticket plans and I believe season ticket and football ticket sales are down?

Anyway, the man has a tough job but I don’t get the multiple man crushes for this guy. Seems plastic to me and he hasn’t launched from the foundation that was left for him by Jim Weaver. Whit has a ton of advantages others didn’t so hopefully he can start to deliver n sports that matter (admittedly to me).
