We all knew that he was a hired gun who was being brought in for a few years to revive a basketball program that was at the bottom of the barrel in the ACC.

He did this spectacularly well and gave us, I believe, the best team that we have ever put on the court this year.

Ever.

Moreoever, he played by the rules, never got us in trouble, and his guys graduated.

He got the chance to go back to his home state and coach a power conference team for significantly more money than we could (or were willing) to pay him.

How many of us, were we in his place, wouldn't have done the same thing?

So why are so many here acting like middle school girls whose boyfriend just broke up with them? We should thank him, wish him well, and move on.
