Big man Reid Travis averaged 20 points 9 rebounds JR year at Stanford

He grad transferred to Kentucky for his senior year this past year and his numbers went down to 11 points and 7 rebounds per game. He legit might never be heard from at the professional basketball level despite being on national tv every game to “showcase” his talents at a “major” program. (I do think Blackshear is more versatile than Reid FWIW)

I think Blackshear averages 20 points and 10 rebounds if he stays at VT, wins ACC player of the year, and helps us finish in the top 8 of ACC play at the very worst, which would put us on the NCAA tournament bubble. I think the only other threat is Florida because they have quality talent at guard/wing and it is close to home. Florida looks like they’ll be a preseason top 25 team even without KB so they truly do worry me. Kentucky has too many mouths to feed IMHO.

As for a decision timeline, this could go on for a few days, a few weeks, or a few months unfortunately.
