For those who may feel that rudolph may not be

a recruit to get excited about because of his lack of high rating and not receiving many P5 offers I have two words for you: Jaden Payoutte. As I recall he was not heavily recruited until Tech got his commitment, then his recruitment blew up and he finished as a 4 star player and I believe one of the top 6 or 7 players in the state by some estimates.
I know it was a different era but I think Bruce Smith was like a 2 star hs recruit due to 'lack of size' and John Engleberger (for us old timers) was a 'no' star but he became an AA and played with the 49rs. There was a 'player' in my part of the country (Oklahoma-Texas) who was given very high ratings by recruiting services, just one problem- the player didn't exist, he was a total fiction. Ratings by some of these services are based on hearsay and rumors. I trust coaches who actually see the players rather than recruiting services.
