It was actually to save shs from going into triple a and they would have to travel far for all their games. Shs has already rebounded to almost as many kids as they had at the split and east rock has another 900. True they shaved off some kids from turner ashby but they had already shifted that burden to them in the years prior to stay out of 3a.

It was an only option type of deal as shs was also taking classes in trailers. Myself included at that time.

As for this kid his coach is a HUGE uva fan so hope they stay out and the kid is a great kid.
