Can someone expand more on Brandon Patterson's meaning of .............

"we know Willis has about as much straight-line speed as his run-happy predecessors at VT, so it seems Fuente’s talking about Willis’ documented problem with making the right option reads (and maybe a little about Willis not being so fluid and natural past the line of scrimmage.)"

Is Brandon's surmisal of this correct as to CJF's feelings, or is it his speculation? What is meant by (Willis) "not being so fluid and natural past the line of scrimmage"? My take was that Willis is not an RPO, but a talented and athletic passing QB that CJF and staff will adapt schemes and play selection to match this strength. I expect the argument that last season, with the QB change due to injury, the correct blocking personnel and plays were not in place for Willis' game.

A final question is will CJF settle on a "specific style of QB strength" in future so schemes and plays need not be adapted as frequently as past four years to accommodate different QB strengths?
