I’m happy to be alive, given the sh@t I’ve been through. I know a lot of others guys who aren’t.

I just can’t imagine how someone could be so petulant and sour, all throughout their life. Either they were born with a psychopathy or other mental illness, or they were just raised by crappy people. He went to Duke and probably was not for want growing up, so he probably just lacked any worthwhile role models or self esteem.

Whatever. He’s long gone now, and the memories of him are of hatred and disgust. I strive NOT to leave a mark like that on the world.

Will (and Doug) thank you for sharing this. What a great lesson of how not to be in life, and I’m going down that path, I always Hope lessons like these shake me out of that process.
