Does VT think this is the correct number of incoming students, and will build more dorms to accommodate the increased student population?

Will VT eventually eliminate the requirement for all freshmen to live in dorms?

$9M is a very costly mistake, especially when the school is always asking for contributions. Will the admissions staff take a pay cut to help offset this mistake, as well as to ensure this never happens again? 10% across the board would be a good start.
