There are potential issues
I’ve had issues in the past in which espn has blacked out the live feed of a game in Virginia so you can’t watch the game live. But I’m happy to say after 10 years of dealing with that, there has been zero negative impact on the universe.
The second thing to get used to is games without commercials. That would be great right? Well the breaks are still there because they’re part of the network feed. You just get an espn logo with some annoying music probably written by someone with a PhD from UVa
The good news is advertisers are buying time in internet broadcasts now so you get some commercials
