The book that goes inside how he developed all of his defensive schemes. It’s not like he had 5 different DCs to observe and emulate, and I don’t know of any highly regarded defensive coaching trees he grew from. All the coordinators I’ve followed have had multiple influencers to pick and choose schemes and strategies from.
How did he develop his basic principles of defense? What was the Murray State defense like? How much of this was Coach Frank’s DB experiences and how much was it his LB coach at MS?
This enquiring mind would like to know. AND, man, I hope he pulls out all the stops this year and shows VT some mind-blowing schemes this year!!! Go Hokies D!!!
