Much depends on the antenna as well...


...I have one on the figure 8 types (60 mi. range) and most of my broadcast towers are in the 30+ mi. range. Rain/clouds pose no issue for me. Only problem is I lose 1 local station when trees are in full foliage , itonically its the closest tower but a weaker signal. Best thing about them you get an uncompressed HD signal , which is far superior to any streaming feed. I dropped Comcast cable over two years ago and have gone the antenna/streaming route with no regrets.
