My take on the QB

Willis has his moments of glory and disaster. I don’t believe that there is any excitement with him though. We run an offense that will strive with a guy who can get out of the pocket and at least have the defenses attention when it comes to scrambling. As Hokie fans we know all too well what a mobile QB does against us. We also know that some of the best QBs to ever play here were able to run. I just wonder as do many, why not give the other guys a shot at QB? You could have had Bradburn play QB and maybe not have 4 turnovers. The interceptions were horrendous. The one before halftime he had Robinson open for a Touchdown that he missed. The deep ball pick was under thrown. The screen pick was a great defensive play but I feel was a lazy effort. I just fear that the next 3 “easy” games will all be convincing wins and we will go through the same situation come Miami Oct. 5th where we are talking about a QB again.

Maybe not even replace him rather than just have a package for Hooker or QP. Lets us fans see that they aren’t ready. We have run a 2 QB system more than once. Glennon/Tyrod and Brewer/ Motley. Just do something to get some excitement. If you keep the QB competition open until a week before the season then the others must have something to show for it.
