Thank God Frank didn’t have to deal with this in ‘92

For the sake of the checkers, I have been a member of this community since the Hokie Central days and not posted much at all over the last 5-6 years because I dont want or need to argue with fellow Hokies about the state of the team and for the most part that’s all that ever goes on here.
It is time for a reality check people. It is never as bad (or as good) as it seems when watching the game live. There were a few miscues and reverts to 2018 form that made the defense look much worse than they are. There was no quit in them though and they recovered to finish the game strong. The offensive line, for the most part looked encouraging to me. Harris looked good in his limited time at center and made a few individual plays that stood out. He was not as effective in the running game but then he has probably not spent the time working with the first unit to get that syncing down pat. Hudson on the other hand worked with the same right side grouping that he practices with every day. I am looking forward to the development of all these guys and say what you want, but the offense as a whole will improve as the O Line does..... and it will.
I watch the Hokies and cheered them on when Will Furrer and crew went 2-8-1 and only beat JMU and Temple. This team is way better and deserve better than all this gloom and doom. I am not blowing daisies at you, this team needs a lot of work to be successful this year but JF and BF see it better than any of us. Trust the process and enjoy the ride... this season is much too early to be hitting the panic button.
Sorry for the run on but hey, I stored a lot before I decided to step up and say something....
