announcement?

When he announced that Bud would remain employed by the Athletic Department in a role similar to Coach Beamer's, he stated that he could be involved with:

The Drive for 25
Fundraising
On campus recruiting for all sports

and then he said he could be a "coach for the coaches".

I'm not sure what exactly that means, but I am thinking if they hire a DC that has no association to Virginia Tech or Bud Foster and his scheme, would that person want to be coached? Is Whit and CJF looking for continuity with the defensive scheme by looking at former players to take over the LPD??

I mean, that statement could mean helping the offense scheme against opposing defenses. It could mean several things. But it stuck in my mind as odd.
