Not MY graphic. It’s ADU’s graphic

with data from proven sources. As much as this is subjective, it’s accurate in almost every category. QOL is the only outlier. And if it’s so subjective, then tell me where you would rank VT in the other categories other than QOL

Winning to gain recruits is the chicken or egg scenario. Need good players to get you wins, but need wins to get good players.

“Fitting in” is a driver but I’m sure many big name recruits “fit-in” at places that WIN. Back to the chicken or egg scenario.

You can’t compare VT to OSU unfortunately. They are on a different level of Facilities, Donor Support, Brand Perception, and leadership buy-in. Not to mention the history and prestige of that program nor the amount of players that go to the NFL from there. Playing at OSU carries a weight to it that VT does not. The entire state of Ohio operates around OSU, and their investments in the football program mirrors that.

You’re missing the bigger picture if you think soft seats and slides are peripheral. Those things add up to the overall environment of the facilities. Clemson has an entire facility solely for the football team, and that facility is ridiculously decked out. Compare that to the Merriman Center (where all VT athletes go) and it looks like we are a small FBS school. Clemson is just one of them. Look at LSU or PSU too for reference.
