The distinction, analogous to a speeding ticket, is whether the particular institution is doing 75 in a 65 or 120 in a 25. Everything hinges on being smart and, for the coaches, giving themselves plausible deniability. K and Duke were not clean long before the one and done era and no different than UK, Louisville, UNC, etc.. Money and the big shoe companies are still running the show. It is why the Adidas trial turned in to much of a non-event after entering the pool with a big splash.
