I think the offense is playing too uptight

I get that Fuente is trying to get the players to “value the ball” but there comes a point where they are so scared of making a mistake that it takes away from their game.
Take yesterday:
Caleb Steward fumbled but he got it back-no harm done but he was immediately pulled from the game (to make a point) and who knows if they’ll ever put him back in.

Tre Turner fumble—I was struck by Fuente’s comments that Tre was “inconsolable” about the error and coaches had to build him back up so that he could go back out there.

Willis int—After that pass every other pass was a dump off, high % low reward type pass. Clearly Fuente told him to be Uberconservative (or else).

Fuente needs to give more confidence to these guys and let them know that if they make a mistake he still believes in them-just relax and play like your capable of. Obviously we can’t win if we keep turning the ball over but I think Fuente’s tactics are doing more harm than good.
