One possible red flag over the program missed? (Trevon Hill)

We all know Hill ended up at Miami. The narrative has been that that's a great fit (not in a good way) for him.

However, he talks about how his finalist was Missouri and how he nearly went there. That's interesting since Missouri's head coach is Barry Odom. Before arriving at Missouri to become the DC and eventually the HC, he was the DC at Memphis under Fu.

So if Hill is this unreachable lost cause, why in the world did Odom want him? Or perhaps dealing with troubled players is just something Fuente isn't able to do very well and Odom knows it.

In this program under Fuente, we keep hearing when a guy leaves that this guy was trouble and this guy was a bad seed, etc. But EVERY program has these guys. Beamer had plenty of these guys. Part of being a great coach is figuring out what motivates these troubled kids and getting the best out of them. That doesn't seem to be happening.

Hill now contributes at Miami. Cam Goode was lazy in Blacksburg... he's killing it a year later at UCF.
