Here's my biggest question with retaining Fuente

At the very least, it seems clear that we need an entire new staff of assistants. I expect they will all be gone at the end of the year. However, if Fuente stays, how do we hire a quality group of assistants going forward? We cannot expect highly sought after assistants will want to uproot their families and walk into a job that may only last 1 year with how hot Fuente's seat is getting.

If VT hires a new head coach as well, it seems to give the program a much greater opportunity to hire strong assistants. As an assistant, you can trust that you and your head coach will have time to get things right.

Fuente may very well be able to succeed with the right staff around him... but to me the odds of getting the right staff seem higher with a new head coach.
