I really think the single biggest issue is mindset

One thing the staff can and needs to do immediately is change the teams mindset. The last two seasons (maybe more), the team doesn't handle adversity well at all. Did one play derail us Friday night? Probably not, but it seemed to.

CFB had a way of getting guys to play like their hair was on fire. I have not seen that from CJF, but he needs to realize how they are motivating guys isn't working and will not work. If he wants to save his job and career, it's starts with that. Hopefully Krill will notice some little things and suggest changes ( hopefully this was CJF idea to bring him in, but I'm not sure).

What if we go up 10-0 with HH & KK moving ball with option game? Even if at halftime Duke goes up 14-10, it's a different discussion post game. The only way I've seen THIS offense consistently work is with JE running zone read. I don't think BC is the guy to call plays, but maybe with the right QB he'd look a little better.

I like RW, but they need to run a different O with him at QB. The other thing I really question is second half play calling. We seemed intent on running the ball regardless of score. We were down 21-3 and Duke threw the ball more than we did in the second half. Made no sense. Maybe RW is too banged up, but his deep ball to DH seemed fine.

No doubt Cutcliffe and staff schooled our staff. Both D's were playing really aggressive on perimeter early, they took advantage of that aggression and we kept running jet sweeps and screens into it.
