Given what we know about Nike/Adidas NCAA hoops scandal
With the new California law, what's to prevent Adidas from "endorsing" a star player, but only if that player attends an Adidas-approved school?
Also, who determines the fair/market value of these endorsement deals? Wouldn't it be easy for boosters/alumni to pay $250k for a 30-second commercial?
