VT wins! QB situation unresolved though-

I’m glad that VT was able to win. Definitely better than losing! Still not much of a passing game. I look forward to seeing commentary from play analysts who I know are much smarter than me.

I found it interesting that Keene had such a huge role- I think Turner was out hurt, and it looked like me missed on Hazelton a few times. What VT gained in a running QB, it lost in passing. I guess whatever wins games, but I think this still makes the offense pretty suspect. Miami showed that in their 2nd half defensive adjustments alone. It wasn’t that VT played worse; Miami just played better than they did in the first half. They realized that VT didn’t have much of a passing game and they focused more on the run. Every team that VT now faces will do the exact same thing. HH got a good 1/2 of a game to show off run capabilities.

Can HH drastically improve his passing soon? Probably not. URI, and maybe GT are beatable this way. I don’t know about the rest of the schedule.

Aside from the rest of the fu situation, it would still be reeeally nice not having a losing regular season.
