Did things look that different?
Our defense started the game out well. Our offense played ok at points but really stalled for large portions of the game...In turn, our thin defensive line (and defense in particular) was gassed in the second half and fell apart.
To me, the only difference in this game was that we were able to force those turnovers while the defense was playing well early and our offense capitalized on them. And we held onto the ball. That, and Miami’s OL is really really bad.
I’m extremely happy about the game. But I don’t think that Hooker will be a magic spark for this current team in the long run.
