Maybe pause and reflect on what caused them to be so disconnected from what was happening with this team and this locker room and this staff.

There is alot more IMO to a Virginia tech team than stats, athletes on other teams, and manerisms in media events from head staff.

To be so far off on your predictions suggest that this site and this forum might need to pay a little less attention to stats, and add in the human element, the emotional element, and the morals and Hokie Values that go into selecting the staff to replace Frank Beamer, and the hard decision-making that is going in to selecting the kids that play for Virginia Tech.

I honestly do think (no hokie shaded glasses here) that Virginia tech runs our football program with a higher level of values, higher quality overall kids (not just athletes), and careful attention to detail to how we choose our staffing, from the top down starting with the Athletic director all the way down to the volunteers that work with the team.

It is for this reason, that It will take ALOT for me to reach a conclusion that we, as a fanbase, need to urge our schools managment to throw out our staff.

I fully expected the outcome of this game, I told everyone on this forum that this staff was not coaching those kids this week, to play better, but they were working very long hours in game planning, and were coaching those kids to go down their to Miami, and kick some ass.

And because of the caliber of our kids on this team, because of their focus, because of their high moral character and work ethics, and willingness to follow the instructions of this staff,
we got the results we saw.

We watched the 2nd youngest team in the ACC go down to a hostile environment, with lots of Hokie fan base hating on them, with websites like TSL chanting they have no chance, with ESPN crews posting rediculous film footage laughing at them from planes, and they dug deep, they supported each other, and showed the world that the Hokies have not given up, but were determined to better themselves, and win.

I love this team, I love these kids, I love this school, I love Bud,
and I trust this staff to get things right and more importantly, to do it the right way.
